I have finished all the sewing and have turned it inside out, so ready for stuffing which I am hoping to do tonight. I will post picture of it when I have stuffed and added the sculpturing.

Larger model

Well I made a pattern today for a 1/9Th scale model(traditional breyer size). I have cut the fabric already and I am quite a way through the sewing, which I do by hand. I really enjoy the sewing part of the model making, very relaxing. I am trying to get more of a muzzle on this model, not sure how it will come out though. It will be a mare of hopefully show quality. I might put her on etsy, not sure yet. I was thinking of making my own rider for her, this would be a first for me, but I am willing to give anything a try.

My first ever blog

This is my first ever blog. I thought It would be a good idea to keep a log of whats going on with my model horses. I am hoping to show these models that I make. I make them out of Calico fabric which I then Sculpt by stitching areas to pull the fabric in. I then apply Acrylic paint. I sand the paint then reapply sand and so on until I happy with the result and feel.
